You might wonder what does it mean. This is actually a tagline for “Innovative Thinking” class 2009.
I have heard the (good) rumor about this class long time ago and now this term is my chance to experience it.

Innovative Thinking class is about “Creativity” and about being “Creative”. This class teach “Creativity” and the first thing I’ve learn is creativity CAN be learned or trained just like any other subject. In our first class we were introduced to the idea of being creative by examples from many famous people e.g. Shakespeare, Newton, Leonardo da Vinci and by doing lots of activity such as left-hand drawing, trick question, A-Z of Computer (Find a word about computers that begins with A-Z), doing something out-of-habit.

Those activities were meant to make us step out of “Comfort zone” that’s a environment which we sense no risk to a new zone called “Creative zone” that’s a zone which we’ll dare to experiment new thing and think out-of-box.

I think this class is a must-study class for all undergrad. It opens a new paradigm for thinking and seeing the world a more unique way. I do not know what I’ll learn from this class but I guess I’ll learn a lot!
